Der Sushi Kockkurs ist sehr zu empfehlen. Hatten quasi einen Privatkurs, da neben uns (2 Personen) nur noch eine weitere Dame dabei war. Dieser Kurs war ein Highlight unseres Urlaubes und auch unsere Tourguide Yokiku gab uns einen wunderbaren Einblick in das jaoanische Leben. Jederzeit würden wir diesen Kurs nochmals buchen.

The Tsukiji Fish Market Tour was fun but very short. It was quite literally just walking through the market for maybe 10 minutes to get to the Sushi Making class without a lot of chances to stop and buy things. The class was very educational and the chef was very kind. Medium quality fish provided which doesn't exactly add up to the price of the experience. Would recommend just taking the trip to the market on your own time and just visiting a sushi restaurant nearby to watch a chef prepare high quality sushi.

The market tour did not include the inner market area, but you have a small window of free time where you can run right over if you want. Having rushed over, and rushed back, I'd probably have stayed in the outer market next time and spent more time sampling food. If I could do it over I'd probably have skipped this activity all together, and spent more time in the outer market, and missed out on the cooking class.

The sushi making course, is just laying fish over rice, while trying to ensure there is an 'air pocket' in the rice. You're not making art, or really learning techniques which you could apply later at home. Having taken cooking classes through Viator in the past, I'd say this one wasn't as great as others. To the operators, I might suggest more hands on education on the 'prep work' rather than exclusively focusing on the assembly. People want to know about how the rice is made, what history/traditions the food has on the overall culture.

We had a great time during this experience! You arrive at the outer fish market at 930 and have time to wander on your own or with the guide. The sushi class was the best part. Lots of fun and full of surprises. This tour is suitable for anyone!

This was so much fun and I highly recommend it! It was one of the highlights of our time in Tokyo. The sushi making class definitely gives a variety of fish and types of sushi to try as well. As soon as the class was over, my boyfriend and I went straight back to Tsukiji and purchased our own authentic sushi kits from the boards they used, sauce bowls, bamboo rolls, etc. The market is crowded, but the hustle of the atmosphere is invigorating and a true sight to see!

This trip was everything my boyfriend and I expected. The hotel pick-up was easy, finding Honda our wonderful tour guide provided no stress, the fish market was full of samples/new experiences, and the sushi making was an adventure we can never re-create.

Our guide, Yuko, was simply amazing, and the experience of the fish market and making sushi is truly unmissable! It really serves as a gateway into Japanese culture and the chef was very patient while Yuko translated the instructions. The sushi was delicious and there were only two other people in my class. This school trains professional sushi chefs and Japanese people interested in making sushi, so it was great to have access to so much knowledge and so many skills!
