Kjembra tur, lærerikt og sterk opplevelse. Den amerikanske kirkegården gjorde veldig inntrykk.

We were able to see a lot in just one day. The travel time from Paris went quickly as the tour guides gave interesting narrative during the drive. I might have preferred a quicker bag lunch and more time at the museum rather than an hour for a sit down lunch though. This was definitely worth the time and money to attend and we would recommend it to others.

Bus was one of the most uncomfortable busses ever. Small, tight seats that dug into the butt, I am 5ft 6 and 130 pounds and I was extremely uncomfortable, heavier people were worse off. Tour guide was nice, provided average commentary but nothing special or outstanding.

Very efficient. Taxi was on time guide was very good and gave very interesting tidbits along the way about everything, including the Normandy area. We drove by the British and Canadian beaches so if you are expecting to get an in depth view of the mulberries you will not get it. That is the only crititcism if you could call it that. Highly recommend

All I could hope for. Punctual, professional, informative. Left with a better working knowledge of what took place, and while I’m very interested, but not a buff, it’s the perfect excursion for someone like me. Which is to say everyone that isn’t an expert already.

This tour was amazing. Very informative for one day trip. I recommend this tour to anyone who has short time but still want to see everything.

This was a great trip, long day from Paris, but was able to experience some of everything that we had hoped to see. We had a really great surprise at the cemetery. We had wanted to see if we could find my husbands uncle's cross. Upon arriving, our guide told us where to go and what to do ( as we had limited time there). It worked out perfect. The visitors desk not only gave us the information we needed but also provided a guide and golf cart to drive us there directly. The guide provided a bucket of sand to rub into his engraved name and information on the cross so that it stood out, The sand was from Omaha beach where he was a fallen soldier. She had an American Flag and also a France Flag one on each side of his cross placed there and the after a few photos was presented to us, along with copies of the uncles purple heart and several other papers for us to read and look through. We were so very pleased. The only problem was the bus did not have water, so we were told not to use the toilet on the bus. Which was somewhat of a problem on the 3 hour drive from Paris to Normandy, 3 of us had to us it, and then we were told not to use it on the return trip, but on the return trip the bus provided a toilet stop at at a gas station. Which was very welcomed. Buses for long trips should be prepared.

Went on a small group tour (8 people) to the D-Day beaches in Normandy with my daughter and two school age grandchildren. Our guide, a young Frenchman, spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable about the D-Day battles. We stopped at the high points, Pointe de Hoc, Omaha, Gold and Juno beaches and the American cemetery giving us a chance to look around and actually stand on the sand of Omaha Beach. Had an excellent 3-course lunch in a Viking fort hotel. Our guide was wonderful with the children. Truly enjoyed the day.

I enjoyed the trip for the history of WWII but our tour guide wasn't the greatest. He didn't speak very good English for the English guided tour so it was hard to understand what he was saying as he was touring us. He was very nice and accountable though. The tour is definitely an all day event so be prepared and to do most of the learning/experience gathering on your own instead of relying on the tour to provide it.

Visiting Normandy has been on my Bucket List for years. It was nice to see the Caen Muesum and and DDay landing sights. Your mind can only imagine what it was like that morning. The best part of the trip was visiting the amazing American Cemetery. Like Arlington Cemetery, it is very moving to see all the headstones for young men in this beautiful setting.
