Everything went through well. We are happy that we made it. The starting place is hard to find, however the bus waited for us.

The tour was excellent. The only thing I would ask is that you make it clear where to meet the bus. We were waiting by the west tower of city hall, but the bus was down on the street below.

My husband and I spent a wonderful day touring the City of Oslo with Viator. We saw all the key sights and particularly enjoyed the Sculpture Park. The main reason for giving this review though is to say thank you to our lovely guide and driver sorry cant remember your names. our cruise ship arrived late into port which meant we were late meeting up with our tour bus, but you waited for us which was great. If you had left without us we would not have been able to enjoy Oslos in the way that we did so thanks guys. We would definitely use Viatoragain in the future.

Terrific guide and sites! The Viking ship museum and Fram museum were fascinating and well worth the trip. Hope you will enjoy this tour as much as I did!

We only had one full day in Oslo so this was the perfect tour to get the main sights in. Excellent tour.

Great tour, but more crowded than a cruise-ship excursion!

We took the Oslo All Inclusive city tour offered by H.M. Kristiansands Automobilbyara, and purchased through Viator, in late August 2017 while in Kristiansand for the day on a cruise ship. We chose this tour because it provided a broad overview of the city and went to four separate locations that we could not have easily done on our own. It was a great tour, but as outlined at the bottom, had more people on it than a typically crowded excursion through the cruise ship! The sights and guide were 5 but the crowding was 2.

The tour started with a ride through parts of old-town Oslo and then up to the ski-jump. Im not into skiing and wasnt expecting much, but it turned out to be an interesting stop. We then went to the Vigeland sculpture park which was beautiful, bizarre, and interesting. Our guide walked us from the exit to the entrance and provided good commentary along the way.

From there we had a choice of the FRAM or KON-TIKI museum. We went to FRAM, a ship built in the 1890s for polar exploration and capable of being stuck in/on the ice for several years. It was fascinating and brought a much better understanding of what these explorations were like and the hardships endured. My take-away: these people were crazy!

Our final stop was at a very good open-air museum showing life at it was in the 1600s for a mountain and valley village. Other eras of housing and villages were also there but we did not have time to see them. Very interesting and informative. It would have been a hard way to live!

The logistics of the tour were good. We had a great guide whose English was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and provided interesting, and funny, commentary. Getting to the tour starting point by the twin-towered city hall took about 15 minutes at a relatively quick walking pace from the cruise ship dock. The meeting point was on the left side of city hall as one faced the back from the sea-side. The buses were on the street at the end of the park. Multiple tours boarded the same bus and then split apart as the bus made different stops.

Our major complaint was the size of the group which started off with close to 80 people on the tour. The double-decker bus was absolutely packed. Weve been using Viator because their tour groups have generally been smaller than a cruise ship excursion. Weve noticed in the past year or so that the groups are getting to be about the same as the cruise-ship excursions and are no longer as relaxing. With the larger groups, it is getting to the point that the price differential does not really justify the increased anxiety in finding the tour location and worrying about missing the ship.
