Tour highlights include special access to staff-only areas, interaction with Academy researchers and a private viewing of some of the Academy's secured collections.

Go deep behind the scenes in the Aquarium and learn how water is piped from Ocean Beach, step onto a private viewing deck beyond the living roof terrace and gain VIP access to the Rainforest dome at the end of the tour. Explore the Academy's collection of rare gems and take in breathtaking views of the building from staff-only areas.

With your Platinum pass, you can visit all exhibits as many times as you like, skipping the lines every time! The Platinum Tour also includes a commemorative Academy gift and the confirmed option to attend a Planetarium show.

• Please note that the Platinum Tour is approximately 2 hours. The admission ticket also includes general admission so you can spend the rest of the day exploring earth, ocean and space through the Academy's exhibits and shows both before and after your confirmed tour
• Passes to special exhibits are handed out daily on a first come first serve basis, therefore subject to availability
• Maximum of 16 people per tour
• The Platinum tour also includes your choice of any Planetarium Show throughout the day.  You will receive a Platinum Tour Lanyard, just show this for VIP access to the Planetarium
• Wheelchair accessible. Wheelchairs are available at the Coat Check on a first come, first served basis.
• Adult pricing applies to all travelers
