This is the fourth time I have taken this tour, I keep travelling with different companions. It is always of a high standard. There is an absolute bonus of travelling in the winter however, you actually get time to look at the artworks without the crowds.

All I can say is that this tour was fantastic. Our tour guide Anna was originally from Boston but had lived in Rome for 3 years so was very knowledgeable. We were so pleased to have booked the tour as we were told all we needed to know about everything we saw and we would definitely book the same tour if we was to visit again.

Arrived at meeting point in some of the worst snow Rome had seen since 1986! Joined a small group (9 people) and walked straight into the museum entrance. No long queues outside, probably due to time of year. Through security checkpoint with no delay and then into the museum. Our guide was very pleasant and knowledgeable. The museum was breathtaking! Didn't get to see St Peters though due to bad weather so we did that ourselves 2 days later. Spent a good 3-4 hours inside, worth the money possisbly. Overall though one of those things you have to see before you die.
