Great day, the skies cleared so we had a great view of Mt Fuji. Our guide was fantastic, and she even had the bus stop at an undesignated stop when the cloads cleared so we can see the mountain.

It is difficult to rate our experience as the weather did not co-operate so we didn't get to see Mount Fuji, no view on the 15 minute boat ride and did not go on the cable car. We also had a quick lunch that was average. Our guide was very nice and tried to everything she can by taking us to the art museum where we found out photos were not allowed which was another dissappointment. Getting on the bus at the central bus station was organized and I liked the fact that seats were ore assigned. The Mt Fuji visitor center was extremely crowded and seemed to cater to visitors who spoke Mandarin. In comparison to other vistor centers in other Countries, I feel that the experience at the visitor center can be improved. It is not consistent with the high qualities that Japan often demonstrates.

there was a spring storm during my trip and we did not get to mt. fuji. I would rather that the trip was cancelled and our tour re-booked.

It was rainy day thus it was off operation for cable car station. Unfortunately we cant go to Mt Fuji. Though the stn closed, but i think tour guide should at least stop us at some where that we can see the mount fuji and take some pictures as memory....

Tour guide was great and very informative and pretty easy to understand. We lucked out and got to see some Cherry Blossoms along the way to Mt. Fuji. Hotel in Hakone was very nice, but the local bus stops running at 7pm so we didn't have time to go out anywhere to explore and there is nothing close by. Next time would love 2 nights so we'd have more time to explore the area. Beautiful!!

This was a terrific day trip. I had a great time and thought the lunch time meal was absolutely beautiful. The only issue I had with the trip was you never really get an oppurtunity to take a photo of Mt Fuji because you are actually on it. They should introduce a stop on the way there to take a great photo of the mountain itself. I ended up getting the best photos when I went to Fuji Q highlands a few days later. The boat trip on Lake Ashi was beautiful and serene. Remember to dress warmly for this trip especially in winter because Fuji is 2 kilometres high and absolutely freezing at the top.

Great tour although it is very weather-sensitive. Fortunately we were able to see Mt. Fuji despite of the slight fog/humidity in the air.
I would have preferred to ride the ropeway for the full path instead of only the first part, anyway it was spectacular.
Very good guide as well.

Great trip despite the inclement weather. The guide was very knowlegable and entertaining. He is a great asset and deserves a raise. The itinerary was well planned and took the expected time. We even got to see the top of Mt. Fuji for a few minutes before the clouds closed in again.

A full and interesting day. Perfect weather for viewing Mt Fuji. Informative guide, great lunch, good value. Fun using different modes of transport too. Highly recommend.

A great tour with an excellent guide. Unfortunately, we can only glimpse Mt. Fuji in about three minutes before it was covered by clouds. We will definitely taking the Sunrise Tour again in the future.

The tour guide was very informative and helpful. Although we didn't see the peak of Mt. Fuji because it was too cloudy, we still had a good time. We had enough time to take photos. The highlight of the trip was seeing snow at the fifth station of Mt. Fuji. The food included in the tour was a traditional Japanese lunch, which was not much at all. It had sashimi so if you do not eat raw fish, then you might want to consider not to include lunch in your tour. Also, we had time to buy souvenirs (mainly food) which was good too. The coach that we got on was comfortable as well (can recline the seats), and clean. I would recommend this tour to anyone (even with small children).

We where travelling with a 10 month old and a 2.5 year old and really enjoyed the day tour. A long day but well worth it. I did think we where going and coming back by bullet train but the train is on the return journey you go to mount Fuji by bus. The tour is well organised and our guide nickname FISH, was extremely helpful and couldn't of asked for more. would recommend.

good value for money - a great day and the best way to see/learn about Fuji-san...the 'lake cruise' is more like a 15 minute ferry ride, but the cable-car ride to the top of the mountain is a bigger highlight anyway. recommend buying lunch with package - great eats and simple logisitics. beautiful countryside, so make sure camera has lots of bateries!

The tour is well organised as expected and begins well with the trip to Mt Fuji. It drags a little towards the end especially with smaller children as you are taken through tacky resorts around lake Ashi and then onto an aging cable car ride. Overall the trip is enjoyable and informative.
